• Brazil to launch tender for new port

  Brazil's national waterway regulator Antaq will launch a US$223 million tender this year to build and operate a new port in Amazonas state capital Manaus, Brazil's ports department SEP said, reported Business News Americas. The company hired to develop the port will be awarded a 25-year concession, renewable for an additional 25 years.
